Coverage Requirements

The policy must be purchased before surgery. If a patient experiences a complication within the first 180 days following surgery, Complication Insurance will cover the treatment costs of the complication within the coverage limits. Depending on the treatment, this period may extend up to 1 year for some plans. Procedures must be performed at a healthcare facility accredited for medical tourism.
