Is it worth getting Health Tourism Eye Treatment Trip Insurance?

Standard health insurance plans generally do not cover elective eye treatments. However, elective eye treatments are often costly procedures. Your existing health insurance and travel insurance will not cover elective eye treatments or any issues that may arise afterward. What if you return to your country after surgery and develop a complication or need revision surgery, and you have to return to the clinic where you were treated—who will cover the expenses? Most of these expenses are paid out of pocket by patients, as they are not covered by their existing health insurance. Generally, your insurance will cost around 3% to 5% of your total health travel expenses. When you think about it that way, it can be a small price to pay to protect your health trip investment.
